How to Change hostname in Ubuntu?

Not a few of us who just use ubuntu difficult to change the hostname on the computer. But actually to change the hostname is not too difficult as we imagine. Ubuntu machine hostname in /etc/hostname, the following steps to change the hostname :

root@laptopxu:~# vim /etc/hostname

After doing the above commands, please replace the existing hostname with new hostname and save with Esc:wq and hit enter, then restart your computer :

root@laptopxu:~# init 6
Hostaname finally been changed !
